You’ll have the chance to grow your career while inspiring others to deliver the highest standards of patient care.As a Senior Theatre Practitioner at our Glasgow Hospital, you’re registered with the appropriate governing body and you hold the relevant qualifications and experience, including NMC. As well as post-registration experience, you bring knowledge of mentoring and multi-specialty surgical procedures. Ideally, you hold qualifications in teaching and assessment, and management.ResponsibilitiesLead by example and be an ambassador for the Nuffield Health way of caringRecognise talent and nurture junior colleagues, mentoring them to be the best they can beUse your excellent clinical skills and empathetic approach to meet each patient’s needsEnjoy autonomy to make decisions that ensure excellent patient careProvide day-to-day supervision, including clinical supervision of junior nursing staff and studentsContribute to scheduling and rotas, recruitment, induction, performance reviews and trainingQualificationsRegistered with the appropriate governing body (e.g., NMC)Post-registration experience and knowledge of mentoring and multi-specialty surgical proceduresIdeally qualifications in teaching and assessment and managementAbout Nuffield Health Glasgow HospitalNuffield Health Glasgow Hospital delivers outstanding healthcare with compassion and respect, to promote health and wellbeing for the residents of Glasgow and the surrounding areas.
