Key Responsibilities Assist with the creation and maintenance of integrated schedules for multiple projects Contribute to project reports and attend associated reviews Assist in the reporting of risk & opportunity management Help the team to ensure correct and effective project governance Contribute to Work Package activities and ensure that milestones are achieved on schedule and within budget Operate Thales UK tools to ensure effective management of the project schedule, budgets, risks and opportunities Commit to attend all elements of the apprenticeship, including virtual training modules, 1‑2‑1 coaching calls, assignments, exams and mandatory Thales UK training activities Program Overview Through our Level 4 higher apprenticeship you will gain a comprehensive understanding of the Project Management Function. The 2‑year programme, delivered via virtual workshops and 1‑2‑1 coaching, is accredited by The Apprentice Academy. Successful completion leads to a position as a Work Package Manager within Thales UK. Entry Requirements Level 3 qualification demonstrating the ability to learn at this level (e.g., A Levels, Highers, T Level, BTEC Diploma) 5 GCSEs, grades 9‑4 (A‑C) including English and Maths (or equivalent) Benefits 201 hours annual leave plus company days and bank holidays Company pension scheme Health Care Cash Plan Life Insurance Discount Portal Performance‑related pay uplifts 80 hours of volunteering in the first two years Closing Date Applications close at 11:59 pm on Thursday 12 February 2026. Security Clearance All successful candidates must possess the permanent right to work in the UK and will be required to undergo Government security clearance at BPSS Level and obtain full Security Clearance (SC) in line with UKSV requirements before starting. Prior SC holders have an advantage, but SC is mandatory for all.
