As a Staff Nurse on the Elective Surgical Ward at our Guildford Hospital, you'll drive the standard in patient care. You're registered with the appropriate governing body, plus you bring the qualifications and experience that are relevant to your registration, including NMC. You also have post-registration experience.
As a Staff Nurse - Day Ward, you will:- Be flexible, motivated, an excellent communicator and team worker.
- Join a close-knit team headed by our matron on our consultant-led ward.
- Fully understand and pay close attention to each patient's needs.
- Work directly with some of the best clinical talent around.
- Gain valuable experience of new practices, equipment and facilities.
- Collaborate with practitioners across other departments to ensure continuity in patient care.

Our facilities include 49 en-suite patient bedrooms, 4 operating theatres, acute dependency and oncology units. We've been awarded the Macmillan Quality Environment Mark for cancer care and our Endoscopy service has achieved JAG accreditation. Our site is shared with an NHS Trust hospital, giving us access to their facilities. The working atmosphere is highly professional and stimulating, yet friendly and collaborative like that of a large family unit. The hospital is easily accessible from the A3 or M25 and we are located about 1.5 miles from Guildford town centre.
