In this pivotal role, you will: Responsibilities Provide strategic leadership across paediatric services. Champion high‑quality, patient‑centred care. Support workforce development and innovation. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver outstanding outcomes. Provide professional nursing leadership to inspire, motivate and empower nurses within the service, providing expert advice. Support the delivery of strategic and operational objectives set by West London Children's Healthcare (WLCH) and the Trust (Imperial College Healthcare NHS Trust). Act as a point of contact for advice and expertise on all matters relating to professional nursing issues. Contribute to both WLCH and Trust initiatives and plans, particularly with respect to changes in patient care delivery and clinical quality. Provide clinical leadership, inspiring, motivating and empowering nurses. Ensure optimal deployment of nursing staff to ensure high quality patient care is delivered and monitored. Support the operational delivery of WLCH and the Trust Quality agenda, including risk management and quality improvement targets within nursing. Support the management of establishments and the implementation of developments relating to nursing. Qualifications Significant leadership experience within paediatrics. Strong clinical background and commitment to best practice. Excellent communication and organisational skills.
