Scope Accountable for the profitable management and daily operations of the Manufacturing Plant, including responsibility for health and safety, overall quality, and compliance to ensure the site meets EFP customer specifications and expectations. Responsible for achieving key operational business objectives, supporting and driving the Hoshin strategy and corporate initiatives. Lead by example and ensure that all employees, visitors and contractors fully understand and observe the Company’s Health and Safety policies and procedures. Ensure compliance against all HSE standards and address issues raised in a timely manner. Encourage a strong health & safety culture with compliance to policy, procedure and PPE. Safety Equipment & Facilities Deliver a motivated, continuous improvement culture throughout all plant teams, ensuring smooth running and continual improvement of day‑to‑day plant activities to support profitability and growth. Maintain plant capacity by overseeing the company’s production equipment, software and hardware requirements, keeping ppm maintenance schedules and managing relationships with external service providers. Ensure compliance is maintained in line with the QMS. Operations Provide information to set operational budgets and meet set targets. Seek necessary resources to achieve production and quality targets, including infrastructure and work environment. Manage, organise and staff site operations. Assess competency and training needs of employees and evaluate the effectiveness of training in terms of increased competency. Jointly communicate the performance of the QMS processes with the Quality Manager. Accountable for achieving formal Hoshin objectives set annually and any ad‑hoc personal objectives. Lead and support Employee Relations, creating an environment where employees can strive and grow. Ensure effective team communication and collaboration through weekly and monthly meetings. Complete all KPI records and reports, producing monthly reports that show progress made and concerns highlighted and addressed. Implement improvements from employee surveys and customer complaints, driving continuous improvement. Housekeeping Ensure the plant controls the working environment and conducts 5S inspections to maintain high standards for all employees. Qualifications Degree in a related engineering discipline or equivalent experience. NEBOSH qualification (preferred). Leadership qualification or relevant experience (essential). Hours Of Work 37.5 hours per week.
