Accounting & Finance Lecturer at GEDU Global Education. Department: Academic/Canterbury Christ Church University (CCCU) – London, East London. Type of Contract: Full-Time, Permanent (40 hours per week). Sponsorship is not offered. Salary: £55,000 per annum. About Us: GBS is a higher education provider offering sector-relevant courses across ten campuses in London, Birmingham, Leeds and Manchester. In partnership with several leading UK HE providers, we deliver vocational, undergraduate and postgraduate programmes in finance, accounting, business, construction, tourism, healthcare and more. Responsibilities Plan, deliver, and assess student work, ensuring all learning outcomes are met. Develop, update, and improve course materials as appropriate. Use a variety of learning and teaching methods/materials. Engage in staff development activities, peer observations, meetings and other administrative duties. Stay current with latest developments in your field and student support practices. Work toward objectives for student attendance, continuation, completion, satisfaction, and progression. Qualifications Master's degree in a relevant subject area (PhD desirable). Previous UK HE lecturing experience in the wider subject area. Extensive knowledge of relevant subject matter. Experience supervising student work and providing support and feedback. Accurate reporting skill and ability to maintain thorough and organised student records. Ability to work under pressure, plan and prioritise own workload to meet tight deadlines. Excellent communication, interpersonal and team‑working skills. Ability to work with diverse groups of people. Desirable Skills Postgraduate Certificate of Academic Practice or equivalent teaching qualification (or commitment to enrol on a teaching programme within three years) or Fellowship of HEA (or international equivalent). Experience designing/developing academic or professional education programmes. Note: This role requires flexibility to teach during weekdays, evenings and weekends as part of our BA (Hons) Accounting & Finance programme. #J-18808-Ljbffr
