SOFICO Great Malvern, England, United KingdomJob DescriptionWe are seeking a Senior Business Analyst (m/f/d) to join our team.What The Job Is AboutAs a Business Analyst, you are the bridge between business needs and technical solutions, transforming customer goals and challenges into structured business and functional requirements. Your role spans the full lifecycle of projects, from preparation and design to delivery and post-go-live support, ensuring solutions align with stakeholder expectations and industry standards.Your responsibilities will include:Business Process Analysis and Design: Mapping and analyzing current business processes and designing future-state processesDeveloping and maintaining business process modelsProposing process improvements and assessing their organizational and technical impactRequirements Gathering and Analysis: Identifying, analyzing, and translating stakeholder needs into structured requirementsConducting workshops to refine and validate requirements with stakeholders and end usersCollaborating with stakeholders to define acceptance criteria and document user stories, acceptance criteria, and process flowsAssisting Product Owners at customer side in managing and prioritizing the project backlogProject Implementation and Support: Supporting solution delivery through validation of functional analyses, enhancement requests, and ticket resolutionsParticipating in scrum ceremonies such as sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectivesCommunicating project progress, changes, and challenges to stakeholders, providing regular reportsRefining requirements, assigning tasks to customers, and offering support on theseGathering and mapping data, validating test cases, and preparing solution handoversProduct-Specific Context: Ensuring detailed documentation of product requirements, striving towards a generic fitActing as a liaison between business stakeholders and development teams to ensure alignmentMonitor Business Needs: Follow evolving business needs and anticipating their impact on systems and processesBusiness Processes: Creating and maintaining updated business process modelsPropose process improvements and analyze impact on organization and systemsBusiness Analysis: Identify, analyze, understand, and describe the needs and expectations of both customers and the businessShare Business Analysis with stakeholders: Prepare enhancement requests from a business perspectiveInteract with end users, key users, and SME’s in requirements definition, refinement, and validation processesSupport the customer in validating functional analysis, change requests, managing handovers, resolving tickets, etcGather and structure information and data from the customer to submit to the Sofico/project teamYour Skills And InterestYou are analytical, detail-oriented, and excel at translating complex business needs into actionable solutions.Your proactive approach ensures that processes and systems are efficient, aligned with industry trends, and scalable for future needs.What else is expected:Proven experience in business analysis, preferably in a tech-driven or software development environmentExperienced in business process modeling, and requirement elicitation and documentationStrong stakeholder management and communication skillsFamiliarity with Agile methodologies and experience in participating in Scrum ceremoniesKnowledge of industry trends, regulatory requirements, and emerging technologiesAbility to work collaboratively with diverse teams and maintain alignment across stakeholdersExperience with tools for process modeling, requirement tracking, and project management (e.g. Jira)What We OfferWe would like to welcome you to an international and multicultural company that has been operating for over 30 years and is doubling in size every 5 years.
