The Role We're seeking talented graduates to join our Human Factors team in Warrington. You'll work alongside experienced engineers and provide human factors consultancy services within the nuclear and other sectors to clients. We as a team provide Human Factors design and safety case support to ensure that the role of the operator is fully considered and potential for human error minimised. Your Impact in this Position As a Graduate Human Factors Consultant, you'll play a key role in supporting the technical delivery of projects. You'll gain hands‑on experience through visits to client sites and facilities as well as opportunities to work on projects at different stages of design. You will provide consultancy advice to our clients, contributing towards the success of the team through the effective delivery of project and ensuring development of key client relationships. You’ll have the opportunity to collaborate across disciplines including nuclear safety, process safety and fire engineering, attend client meetings and site visits and contribute to technical reports. MANDATORY Training & Qualification requirements Have, or be on course for achieving, a relevant degree in one of the following subjects : MSc / PgDip or BSc in Human Factors, Ergonomics or Psychology. Your Pathway You’ll be assigned a location, cost centre, line manager, and a 'home' technical discipline based on your qualifications and business needs. If you wish to explore a different discipline at the end of the programme, we’ll consider this based on your interests and business requirements. Chartered Management Institute (CMI) Partnership As part of the scheme, you’ll have access to the CMI Foundation Chartered Manager pathway through flexible, online Bite Size programs. Choose from a range of topics‑including Managing Change, Leading in a Digital Age, Conflict Resolution, Project Management, and Data‑Driven Decision Making— to build your leadership and management skills. Those who progress beyond this stage will be invited to attend a final assessment, which will take the form of either an in‑person interview or an assessment centre, depending on location and discipline.
