Unite People are a specialist construction & building recruitment company. We are working with a specialist retail fit out contractor to appoint a Project Manager in a Hybrid working capacity in Leeds, West Yorkshire
Our client is focused on the delivery of refurbishments to retail spaces.
The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing and managing all aspects of fit-out construction projects from inception to completion. This role requires a proactive and detail-oriented professional with a proven track record of delivering projects on time and within budget.
Working pattern with be hybrid, including time spent on sites/ projects. This role is not a site based opportunity. You will be managing multiple projects with site based Site Managers reporting to you.
Key Responsibilities:
* Manage all elements of fast-track fit-out projects.
* Attend client meetings both on Teams and offices
* Collaborate with clients, designers, and subcontractors to understand project requirements and expectations.
* Develop comprehensive project plans, including schedules and resource allocation.
* Coordinate and lead project meetings, ensuring effective communication among all stakeholders.
* Monitor and enforce compliance with safety regulations and quality standards on-site.
* Provide regular project updates to clients, addressing any concerns and ensuring satisfaction.
* Ensure timely completion of project milestones and final delivery.
Qualifications:
* Proven experience as a Project Manager in a fit-out environment
* SMSTS & CSCS
* Excellent organisational and leadership skills.
* Effective communication and interpersonal abilities.
* Proficient in project management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
