Overview Insurance Account Handler Barker Munro recruitment are currently working with one of the largest Insurance Brokers in the world who are currently looking to add to their Commercial Broker team based out of their Kent office, with the addition of an insurance account handler to join the team. This is an opportunity which would suit someone who has some account handling or insurance administration experience, preferably in commercial fleet or personal lines and looking to move over to the commercial insurance market. Alternatively, the client will consider someone who has an excellent work ethic and has been working in a regulated financial office environment and is looking for a career in insurance. There is also a consideration for a graduate who is looking to forge a career in insurance broking. Responsibilities This role will be predominantly supporting senior account handlers in issuing client documentation, chasing outstanding information/paperwork, responding to client queries, preparing pre-renewal, mid-term adjustments and some smaller client registrations. You will be focused on providing quality service to the clients and senior account handlers and will need to be organised with good attention to detail. In return you can expect a supportive team, career progression and the opportunity to gain industry qualifications. What you will need to be considered Experience within the insurance industry, commercial Fleet is preferable but not essential Proven customer service skills within a business to business environment would be good to have Organised and able to prioritise workloads Knowledge of FCA regulations and basic insurance principals would be excellent to have, but again not essential Ability to work within a team environment and as an individual Opportunity This is a fantastic opportunity to develop your career and your insurance skillset within a business that caters for hybrid working and personal development.
