Senior Clinical Fellow - Nodal Point 4 (MT04)Join to apply for the Senior Clinical Fellow - Nodal Point 4 (MT04) role at Royal Free London NHS Foundation Trust.Applications are invited for 2 senior clinical fellow posts in Hepatology and Liver Transplantation working within the Royal Free Hospital Liver unit. The Trust provides secondary and tertiary Hepatology services, including liver transplantation, management of complex portal hypertension and management of complex pancreatic and biliary diseases.OverviewThe posts are fixed term 1 year beginning March 2025 and will be based in the Royal Free Hospital Liver unit.Key ResponsibilitiesParticipate in full range of daytime activities, including general hepatology and specialist outpatients, endoscopy lists, and contribution to care of Hepatology and Liver Transplant inpatients.Engage in research, audit, teaching and quality improvement projects.Attend weekly multidisciplinary team meetings for transplantation, viral hepatology, hepatobiliary malignancies, radiology and pathology.Contribute to the out‑of‑hours rota.Develop an individualised programme of clinical sessions, research, audit and teaching to meet subspecialist interest and training needs.Professional DevelopmentPost offers opportunity to pursue a sub‑specialist interest (e.g., acute‑on‑chronic liver failure, viral hepatitis, complex portal hypertension, autoimmune liver diseases, hepatocellular carcinoma or non‑invasive fibrosis assessment).
