If you're a qualified English Teacher looking for your next challenge, this could be the perfect opportunity for you About the Role As an English Teacher, you'll be responsible for delivering high‑quality lessons in English Language and Literature to secondary school students. You'll join a supportive and dynamic English department and have the chance to make a real difference in students' educational journeys. Some of our schools have a high percentage of EAL (English as an Additional Language) students, so experience working with EAL students would be highly advantageous. Key Requirements Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) - ECTs (Early Career Teachers) are welcome to apply. Experience teaching English at secondary school level, with a proven track record of success. Excellent behaviour management skills to ensure a positive, productive classroom environment. Experience working with EAL students is highly desirable. Availability to start in January 2026, with flexibility for both long‑term and permanent roles. DBS on the updated service or willingness to apply for a new one. References covering the last 2 years of employment.
