Department Description Allica Growth Finance delivers working‑capital funding to established UK businesses, with facility sizes between £1m‑£10m. Since launching in 2023 our product has been well received, resulting in a rapidly growing portfolio of SME clients. Role Description The Growth Finance Regional Lead will contribute to generating Growth Finance opportunities to meet and exceed forecast portfolio assets and income/returns, while managing risk within the bank’s appetite. Principal Accountabilities Deliver new business volume and income plan for Growth Finance based on individual targets. Ensure all relevant information, risks and mitigants are considered when presenting opportunities. Develop and maintain the introducer base, targeting corporate‑finance and debt‑advisory professionals and selected specialist brokers. Collaborate with other team members, both within Growth Finance and across the bank, to ensure a cohesive regional approach. Work closely with all areas of Allica to provide a seamless and professional service, and steer product and software development for maximum customer benefit. Advocate for the product across the bank. Comply with all mandatory policies and maintain strong internal controls. Personal Attributes & Experience Belief in improving working‑capital lending solutions and a desire to innovate with a hands‑on approach. Deep understanding of SME working‑capital financing, facility structuring, and documentation. Established network of potential introducers in the debt‑advisory/corporate‑finance community. Ability to interpret detailed financial information, assess funding requirements, and model sensitivity impacts. Experience in assessing and monitoring a broad range of collateral classes and applying risk mitigants. Understanding of operational aspects of business finance, including receivables and asset‑based lending. Strong stakeholder‑management skills with a track record of building trust‑based relationships. Expertise in structuring new lending proposals, responding to client changes, and writing credit applications that enable balanced decision‑making.
