Job Title:StR Lower in Child & Adolescent PsychiatryGrade:StR LowerHours:40 hours per weekLocation: Birmingham, West MidlandsRate:Competitive, to be discussed upon applicationAn exciting opportunity has arisen for a Specialty Registrar (StR) Lower in Child & Adolescent Psychiatry to join our esteemed NHS client’s dynamic team based in Birmingham, West Midlands. This position is available for an immediate start, offering competitive rates.Main Responsibilities:Admission clerking, bloods, ECG, physical examination, writing CPA reports, discharge summaries, regular mental state examination, liaise with external agencies, external hospitals, attending ward rounds and CPA meetings.Qualifications and Experience:A medical degree and professional qualification in psychiatry.Full registration with the General Medical Council (GMC).Extensive and relevant post-qualification clinical experience.Extensive experience of applying psychiatric frames of reference and approaches.Highly effective clinical reasoning skills.Highly specialist knowledge of relevant assessment and treatment models.Section 12 Approval and Approved Clinician (AC) Status are essential.Experience working in Child & Adolescent Mental Health Community settings.How to Apply:If you are a dedicated professional looking to advance your career and make a meaningful impact in the field of child and adolescent psychiatry, we would love to hear from you.
