OverviewAramark UK are currently recruiting for a General Service Assistant in their Defence sector to be a part of our integral team at Driffield Cadet Training Centre, YO25 9HD.As a General Service Assistant, you will mainly be working front-of-house. You will support day-to-day operations by serving food and beverages to our customers, cleaning dining areas and supporting both front and back of house areas. You will provide excellent customer service and report to the General Manager on site.You must be eligible to work in the UK and have resided in-country for more than 3 years. Security checks are required for this role.What we offerWe are offering a zero hours, permanent position. We also offer apprenticeship schemes, so that your learning journey can continue.A day in the life of a General Service AssistantYou will be serving food and beverages to customers, ensuring all health and safety protocols are adhered to and excellent customer service is always provided.Stocking up, stock rotation, spot cleaning, cleaning dining and serving areas, both front and back of house.You will also be serving on the food counters and communicating the offer to the customer.Minimal food preparation to include making salads, portioning of made desserts, traying up breakfast items e.g. bacon & sausages, vegetable prep alongside the Chef.You will be set up for success if you havePrevious customer facing / food service experience is desirable, however full training will be given on site.For this role you must be 17+Must have eligibility to work in the UK and have resided for longer than 3 years.
