Lead Integration EngineerLocation: StevenageWe have a fantastic opportunity for a Lead Integration Engineer, working with a leading global engineering company, where you will have the opportunity to work on a range of projects designed to protect the safety of our nation and its allies. This is a permanent role that offers a competitive salary of up to £60,000, an excellent benefits package and ongoing career development prospects.About the Lead Integration Engineer RoleAsthe Lead Integration Engineer, you will be instrumental in planning and conducting integration and compatibility proving activities. Your ability to build strong relationships with various project customers will ensure the successful achievement of design verification and evidence.Key ResponsibilitiesPlanning the delivery of proving tests to meet the programme maturity milestones and support the timely clearance certification for trialactivities.Collaboration with the systems and design teams to derive test requirements that ensure comprehensive system-level test coverage.Overseeing the generation of test instructions, test reports and supporting safety documentation/processes.Integration of multiple variants of missile and launcher subsystems in trials and operational configurations.Supporting the integration of trials test equipment for use across proving activities.Coordinating with design teams to diagnose problems and determine design solutions.Providing support to trials defect investigations and analysis of data as requiredDefining test and trials equipment requirementsWhat We're Looking ForThe ideal candidate will have:Degree qualified (or equivalent) in electrical/electronic engineering or similar.Good understanding of hardware/software integration and test activities.Familiarity using general commercial lab test equipment.Familiarity using data analysis tools/methods.Experience or personal interest in scripting (e.g. python or similar)The creativity and practicality to work with complex problems and derive logical solutions.Adaptability and innovation in a varied and often fast-paced role.What's on OfferCompany bonus up to £2,500.Pension contributions up to 14%.Flexible working arrangements and additional leave options.Paid overtimeIf you're passionate about making a difference in the defence sector, we welcome your application #J-18808-Ljbffr
