Pathology Courier

We are seeking multiple motivated and reliable casual Couriers to join our dedicated team within our Pre-Analytics department. This role is critical in ensuring the safe, timely and efficient collection and delivery of specimens, medical supplies, reports and equipment between the main laboratory, collection sites, medical centres and hospitals. The successful candidate will demonstrate excellent attention to detail, reliability and strong commitment to client service. You will be expected to represent the organisation in a positive and professional manner and contribute to a culture of teamwork and continuous improvement. Working Hours We are looking for candidates that can be available to work between 7am – 11pm, with the flexibility to work weekend shifts if required. Key Responsibilities Follow designated run sheets and schedules, ensuring compliance with collection processes Collecting and distributing specimens, store orders, reports and equipment to the correct destination Maintain confidentiality and handle all specimens with care and security Ensure all specimen logbooks are filled out and signed at applicable locations Complete daily vehicle checks and daily audits prior to using company vehicle Adhere to health, safety and quality assurance procedures, including incident reporting Liaising with a range of different people including customers, clinic staff and couriers Qualifications Exceptional communication skills (both verbal and written). Exceptional time management skills and able to work autonomously and independently. The ability to be well organised, reliable, with strong attention to detail and demonstrate a positive and professional attitude. Be proficient in Microsoft Office programs and be confident in using computer programs. A current unencumbered Australian Driver's License & Legal right to work in Australia.
