What you’ll be doing Set the overall AI strategy and direction, aligning innovation with business goals and industry advancements. Partner with executive stakeholders to identify and scope AI solution opportunities. Lead the design, development, prioritisation, and execution of AI initiatives, ensuring they meet business and technical requirements. Oversee data analysis, preprocessing, and feature engineering for robust model development. Champion AI projects from concept to production, including integration, monitoring, and performance evaluation. Manage complex matrix stakeholder relationships, including proven success in engaging C-suite leadership. Deliver both strategic and transformative AI initiatives across regional and global enterprise settings. Ensure AI solutions meet regulatory requirements and standards. Mentor and support AI solution teams, fostering a culture of learning and collaboration. Stay ahead of AI trends, emerging technologies, and best practices, bringing fresh ideas to Zurich. Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, promoting the value and impact of AI. What we’re looking for Proven experience in leading AI solution development and implementation within a complex, highly regulated business environment. Track record of delivering strategic and transformative AI initiatives in regional and global enterprises. Experience working with C-suite leaders and navigating complex matrix stakeholder environments. Strong understanding of AI technologies, data science, and solution delivery lifecycle. Ability to set strategic direction, define standards, and drive adoption of best practices. Excellent leadership, communication, and mentoring skills. Proactive approach to personal development and performance improvement, demonstrating Zurich’s corporate values. Passion for driving innovation and continuous improvement. Experience in financial services or insurance domains is preferred, but significant experience in other regulated domains will also be considered.
