We are looking to appoint a strong teacher to lead and manage the Maths department under the direction of the Head of Maths. The role involves overseeing the delivery of high-quality education and ensuring continuous development of a comprehensive curriculum that supports programme objectives and outcomes. Responsibilities Lead and manage the Maths department in accordance with the Head of Maths’ direction. Oversee delivery of high‑quality education within the Maths department. Ensure continuous development of the curriculum to support programme objectives and outcomes. Collaborate with teaching staff to set and review curriculum schemes and assessment strategies. Provide leadership and professional guidance to Maths teachers. Monitor and report on student progress and attainment in Maths. Qualifications and Experience Strong teaching experience within Further Education, preferably in Mathematics. Demonstrated ability to develop and deliver an effective Maths curriculum. Evidence of leadership and management experience in an educational setting. Good understanding of FE teaching and learning standards, including the T-Level programmes.
