This senior sales role will be responsible for building and executing a regional insurance sales strategy, deepening client relationships, and delivering revenue targets. This individual will play a critical role in shaping our insurance presence in key markets and will work closely with regional business leads as well as global product, operations, and relationship management teams.**The key responsibilities of the role include:*** Develop and execute a robust sales strategy for insurance clients across EMEA, aligned with global objectives.* Identify, originate, and close new business opportunities with insurance clients, with a specific focus on insurance accounting, asset servicing and capital market solutions* Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, industry influencers, and internal stakeholders.* Collaborate with product management to ensure market needs are reflected in solution development and positioning.* Represent the firm in industry events, conferences, and regulatory discussions across the region.* Maintain oversight of the insurance sales pipeline, forecasts, and performance metrics, providing regular updates to key stakeholders and senior leadership.* Ensure compliance with internal governance standards and local regulatory requirements.**The successful candidate will benefit from having:*** Deep understanding of the insurance industry considered imperative* Proven experience in sales, ideally working in securities services, consulting or specialist software sales roles* Proven track record in institutional sales leadership within the EMEA region.* Deep understanding of regional market dynamics, regulatory landscape, and client needs.* Strong leadership and team management experience; able to inspire and drive results through virtual teams.* Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.* Strategic thinker with a strong commercial acumen and data-driven approach to decision making.* Ability to work effectively across cultures and geographies.* Experience in Investment Strategy/ Management considered a strong plus.* Additional language skills considered positively* Demonstrated ability to operate effectively in a matrixed, global organization.**Working with Us:**As a Northern Trust partner, greater achievements await.
