Whether welcoming guests, preparing first-class cuisine, or helping bring unforgettable events to life, you’ll play a valued role in shaping the future of this iconic Scottish resort.Key ResponsibilitiesAssist in creating a warm and welcoming environment for our guestsAdherance to our steps of service for each operational area you may work inEnsure an efficient and safe delivery of all food and beverage orders in line with guest expectations ensuring an exceptional level of service is always maintainedSet up, clear and promptly service tables after use to ensure that guests can be seated in a timely manner.Ensure all cash, card and till procedures are carried out in line with agreed proceduresDeal with guest complaints in a friendly and efficient manner, always ensuring guest satisfaction and ensure that any guest complaints and comments are reported to management.Setting up marquees, arranging tables and assisting with the preparation of event spacesGreeting guests as they arrive at the venue, directing guests to tables, providing menus and taking ordersDelivering food from the kitchen to guests at the table or to a self-service areaKeeping any bar and drink service areas fully stocked with beveragesTaking drinks orders and serving drinks to guests at their table or throughout the venueOpening wine bottles at the table and pouring drinks for guestsWiping down tables and chairs, removing rubbish and clearing event spacesIdeal Food and Beverage AssistantExperience of working in a similar role and/or environment (preferably in a high-end restaurant within the hotel, leisure or hospitality industry would be a distinct advantage)Previous experience in afternoon tea, breakfast, lunch & dinner service (all areas not required)High standard of personal presentation in line with our uniform policy #J-18808-Ljbffr
