Working in our successful CTAC department will give you the opportunity to develop relationships with clients as you help with advisory work and manage the compliance process. The Role We are currently looking to recruit a Senior Manager to be based out of our CTAC team in CSQ, although we work as a wider London‑region team made up of 5 other offices. The successful candidate will build strong relationships, develop junior staff, provide excellent client service and identify business development opportunities. At KPMG, our values define who we are and the way we do business. Overview This exciting role is within our CTAC team based in our CSQ office. We are looking for a talented individual at Senior Manager level to support our continued rapid growth. You will work with a diverse portfolio of clients across UK‑listed, PE‑backed, inbound and family‑owned groups, and take on a variety of advisory projects, including tax structuring, domestic tax advice and international advice. Previous experience of working with multinationals is helpful, but strong technical skills, drive and curiosity are essential. Role and Responsibilities Provide International and Complex UK Tax Advisory services to support clients in achieving their commercial objectives, and manage the compliance process. Deliver technically excellent advice including tax structuring, refinancing, legal structure optimisation, pre/post‑transaction reorganisations, tax authority enquiries, compliance work and technical support to the wider corporate tax team. Liaise with specialists in other departments and overseas offices to incorporate their input into tax advisory projects. Coach and develop more junior members of the team. Manage aspects of the team’s operations and performance, including resourcing. Develop and maintain strong client relationships and understand their businesses to create opportunities to help provide tax and other services. Prepare proposals for new work, including tender documents, client pitches and solutions for client issues. Seek out and pursue business development opportunities, supporting Directors and Partners. Act as a role model for KPMG’s values. Qualifications, Experience and Skills ACA, CA, CTA, ACCA or equivalent with strong corporate tax and accounting knowledge. Proven ability to develop, coach and lead staff, and manage stakeholders. Strong interpersonal, oral and written communication skills. Well‑developed analytical skills and a commercial approach to resolving issues and providing advice. Pro‑active in identifying and progressing business opportunities for the benefit of KPMG and clients. Ability to multi‑task – manage a wide range of projects and relationships. High level of drive and enthusiasm with a positive attitude. Dedication to continuous technical knowledge development. Inquisitive with attention to detail.
