Do you have what it takes to transform society? We are currently looking for a talented and motivated Principal Health & Safety CDM Consultant to join our External Health & Safety Team. What does the role involve? Managing a range of projects, advising the Client on compliance with the CDM2015 Regulations and other associated legislation. Undertaking site inspections and preparing reports with proposed corrective actions. Supporting clients in advising on the suitability of their H&S management arrangements. There is also an opportunity to widen your building compliance skills by working closely with our Building Safety duty holder support team who provide advisory services to duty holders under the Building Safety Act. You will also be supporting the Operations Director with developing/enhancing the technical skills of consultants in the team by sharing your experiences and technical knowledge. To be successful in this role you will: Hold a higher education qualification in design, engineering, surveying or a construction related discipline. Hold (or demonstrate that you are working towards) chartered membership of a relevant professional institution. Demonstrable CDM project experience including the preparation of related document reporting. Have a general understanding of the Building Regulations. Be able to manage your own time and project budgets (delivering to agreed project scope, time, cost and quality). Have the ability to engage with key stakeholders to gain commitment and to influence the acceptance of new ideas and concepts in respect of change plans. Have good communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to adapt your style to suit difference audiences. What's in it for you?
