The post holder coordinates programme board meeting packs, tracks actions, supports stakeholder engagement and contributes to corporate reporting while championing governance practices. Support to specific Transformation Programmes and senior stakeholders, including Programme Managers and Senior Responsible Officers, is also a key part of the role. In This Role You Will Provide high‑quality programme and project support to Transformation Programme Managers, SROs and workstream leads, coordinating activities, maintaining plans, analysing data and supporting delivery of milestones. Maintain and update programme documentation, logs and registers, including risks, issues, decisions and dependencies. Assist with the preparation of corporate reports and dashboards. Provide administrative support to the PMO Partner and the Head of Service, diary management. Support the ongoing maintenance of the Council’s project management framework, updating and creating new processes, templates and guidance. Continue building your project management understanding. Support the Head of Service in developing communication materials, presentations and internal announcements for the Transformation Programme. Work with colleagues and stakeholders across the Council in a networked way to drive transformation and continuous improvement. Lead and promote the Project and Programme Management Community of Practice, coordinating events and communicating with internal networks. About You Strong organisational skills, juggling competing priorities and maintaining accuracy under pressure. Practical experience of project management and delivery. Understanding of local authorities and services within a local government context. A positive, forward‑thinking mindset advocating change and innovation. Proactive, solution‑focused approach, anticipating needs and taking initiative. Good analytical skills, interpreting information and supporting reporting.
