Leisure Club Assistant

Responsibilities Assist with general duties in the club and ensure the smooth running of the department. Maintain the highest cleanliness standards in and around the club to ensure member satisfaction. Ensure all Health & Safety requirements are always met for the safety of members and staff. Maximise sales opportunities wherever possible. Supply the highest levels of customer care & service. Provide gym inductions to new & existing members (if you have the necessary qualifications). Attend departmental and training meetings as required. Be dressed in a smart and professional manner in accordance with the Quality Standards in your handbook. Undertake any other reasonable duty requested by a member of the Management team. Comply with all health and safety legislation. Be fully aware of the: Accident reporting procedure Maintenance fault reporting procedure Fire policy for your department How the Hotel's/Venue's health and safety policy affects your department and links with the rest of the hotel/centre. Promote the image of the Hotel/Venue and the company through sales activity and a positive approach, and assist colleagues when needed. Comply with reasonable requests from management or Head of Department. The responsibilities may change from time to time to reflect business requirements. Key Skills & Qualifications Gym Instructor, Pool Lifeguard, First Aid (advantageous but not essential). Strong individual worker & team player. Friendly and polite. Ability to use own initiative and work proactively. Strong communicator. Flexible & motivated.
