Job Title: Legionella Risk Assessor / Water Hygiene EngineerLocation: Newcastle upon Tyne, Tyne and Wear.Salary / Benefits £22k – £35k + Training + BenefitsOur client is a professional Water Treatment Company who provide the full range of water hygiene / water treatment and legionella services. They are now seeking to recruit a Legionella Risk Assessor / Water Hygiene Engineer to cover contracts across the North East of England. The successful candidate will be able to carry out Legionella Risk assessments on Domestic systems as well as routine L8 compliance duties. Due to the nature of the role, the successful candidate must be happy to travel extensively within the role. Our client can offer opportunities for career progression, excellent salary, and generous holiday allowance.Consideration will be given to candidates from: Gateshead, Hexham, Consett, Durham, Sunderland, South Shields, Peterlee, Hartlepool, Redcar, Stockton-on-Tees, Barnard Castle, Darlington, Middlesbrough, Saltburn-by-the-Sea.Experience & Qualifications:” Will hold an industry recognised qualification e.g., City and Guilds / WMSoc in Legionella Risk Assessing.” Will have hands on experience carrying out Risk Assessments and L8 compliance duties.” Will be fully conversant in legislations relating to HSG / ACoP L8 guidelines.” Excellent IT skills.” Will have excellent time management / communication skills.The Role:” Carrying out legionella risk assessments on hot and cold domestic water systems.” Reviewing risk assessments and creating legionella management plans based on findings.” Showehead descales.” Flushing of little used outlets” Temperature monitoring.” Water sampling.” Conducting inspections of cold and heated water storage tanks.” Cleans and disinfection on storage tanks.” Ensuring onsite logbooks are up to date and accurate.” Using PDA to produce complete reports.” Producing schematic drawings.Future Select are recruiting in the Water Treatment/Hygiene industry; we work with the best clients & candidates and supply the majority of permanent jobs in the market.We would be interested in speaking to candidates with experience in any disciplines from Risk Assessors, Service Engineers, Account Managers and Business Development/Operational Managers through to Director level.We are inundated with applications, we will endeavour to get back in touch, however if you have applied to Future Select and you have not heard from us after a week, on this occasion, you will not have been successful.
