You may help with the set‑up of filming on location or in the studio for one of our programmes like The One Show, or schedule crews and freelancers for Women's Hour. No media experience or qualifications needed – just enthusiasm and problem‑solving skills. Team overview BBC Wales – Sport brings audiences the excitement of Wales' biggest sporting moments, from international football and rugby to EFL matches and global events like the Commonwealth Games. As a Production Coordinator Apprentice, you'll support the planning and delivery of these broadcasts, helping the team bring world‑class sport to audiences in Wales and beyond. Your Key Responsibilities Organise logistics for live sports coverage, including travel and equipment for crews Assist with planning and preparation for broadcasts in studios and at stadiums Support production teams during live and recorded output, ensuring resources are in place Help coordinate schedules and manage information across the production team Contribute to projects that make our sports coverage efficient, engaging and audience‑focused Qualifications upon completion On successful completion of your apprenticeship you will be able to apply for job roles such as a Production Management Assistant, Production Secretary or Production Coordinator.
