As a Policy Advisor, you’ll play a pivotal role in shaping the policies that drive our mission and ensure we’re ready for the challenges and opportunities ahead.What you’ll doResearch, develop, and review policies that align with our strategic objectives and regulatory requirements.Write clear, evidence-based policy briefings that inform decision-making at every level.Monitor sector trends, regulations, and legislation - raising key issues at the right time.Coordinate consultation responses, working collaboratively with subject matter experts and colleagues.Manage the policy framework and ensure governance processes are followed.Influence positively across the organisation and externally, building strong relationships.Why this role mattersHousing is more than bricks and mortar – it’s about creating thriving communities. Applicants, who do not meet all the requirements of the post, will start 5% or 10% below the spot salary.About youProven experience in policy development, research, and analysis, preferably within the housing sector.Strong understanding of housing legislation, regulations, and best practices.Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to translate complex information into clear, actionable policies.Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities.Experience working collaboratively with diverse stakeholder groups.Policy Advisor InterviewsWe want your candidate experience to reflect who we are - a place to grow, a place to thrive, a place to be you.Stage 1 : A Place to ConnectA call with the hiring manager.
