Data and Document Controller – Rheolydd Data Transport for Wales is seeking a Data and Document Controller to join our Infrastructure Owner Team on a fixed-term, 2‑year contract. The role will help build and maintain a robust document and data management system supporting rail, bus, walking, and cycling infrastructure projects. Pay and contract This is a fixed-term (2 years) role. Pay is competitive and will be based on your skills and experience. Responsibilities Support the implementation and maintenance of a data and document system in collaboration with the Senior Asset Infrastructure Manager and internal/external stakeholders. Act as the records officer for the Infrastructure Owner Team, ensuring data and documents are created, managed, selected, and transferred to the internal storage system. Provide analytical and data support to other directorates, delivering insights and evidence within TfW. Govern data quality, maintain audit trails, and minimise risk to TfW. Qualifications Experience in a Data and Document administration role or similar. Experience recommending changes or improving procedures relating to online data and document control within an organisation. Experience using data and document control/document storage systems. Proficient IT skills, including Office365 and SharePoint. Accurate and proficient in data entry and management. Welsh Language Skills The ability to speak/write Welsh is desirable but not essential.
