Consultant, Business Affairs Work Location: Remote (with in‑person attendance in London on an ad‑hoc basis) Start Date: January 2026 (3‑month FTC with opportunity to extend) Whalar Group is a global creator company on a mission to liberate the creative voice. About the Role We are seeking a Business Affairs Consultant to support our growing Whalar Studios division with production paperwork, freelancer contracts and risk assessments. You will also draft, negotiate and execute creator/talent agreements for Brand clients across the EMEA and DACH regions, and review provided content for intellectual‑property risks and other applicable regulations. Day‑to‑Day Responsibilities Review, redline and negotiate creator agreements on behalf of brand clients. Advise, plan, and coordinate all aspects of creator agreement review and approval. Communicate and negotiate with creators, agents, managers, and legal counsel on all aspects of agreements. Work flexible hours to support the Global BA team when needed. Support the Director, Business Affairs with contract execution and ad‑hoc requests. Assist Whalar Studios with freelancer agreements, risk assessments, content‑production paperwork and clearances. What We’re Looking For 3+ years’ experience in social media marketing, entertainment, or the creator scene. A passion for social media, the creator economy, and a fondness for processes and contracts. Experienced in talent‑contract editing and strong negotiation skills. Good understanding of basic Intellectual Property principles and content clearances. Self‑starter who can work independently with minimal supervision. Organized and able to prioritize daily requests in a fast‑paced environment. Open to flexing hours beyond the standard schedule to keep campaigns on track. Strong attention to detail, especially in contracts and providing direction to internal teams. Positive, can‑do vibe that contributes to our collaborative culture. Exposure to content‑production paperwork (releases, risk assessments, insurance, clearances) is desirable. Knowledge of another European language (German or French) is a bonus.
