Contract and Pay Rate Earnings are £15.55 per hour, paid weekly, equating to a minimum guaranteed gross annual salary of £30,322 (inclusive of the anticipated tronc payment). The role carries a permanent contract of a minimum of 37.5 hours per week, working any 4 days out of 7, including evenings and weekends. Primary Role Responsibilities Be confident in working a busy service and display a willingness to support across different areas of the Kitchen. Support the Head and Sous Chef in running aspects of the Kitchen, including leading a smooth and busy service. Prepare and cook dishes according to the specification set out by the Head Chef, covering all menus including a‑la‑carte, room service, breakfast, bar food, bar snacks, events and guest amenities. Be committed to working wholeheartedly as part of the team, effectively and positively communicating with all members of the kitchen and front‑of‑house team. Have a passion and display a willingness to train junior Chefs and apprentices in an open working environment of ongoing improvement. Strictly adhere to Health & Safety and Food Hygiene legislation, following best practice at all times and leading the team to do so consistently. Complete due diligence documentation to maintain our high food audit scores. Display a willingness to continuously learn and improve your skills as a professional Chef. Applicant Requirements A minimum of 4 years professional cooking experience in a restaurant of high calibre. Demonstrate a passion for quality food and preparation. Be hardworking and a team‑player. Have experience and the ability to carry out food preparation of fish and meats. Trained and knowledgeable in food hygiene to level 2 or above, HACCP and allergens; full training will be provided. A minimum of 1 year experience as a Senior CDP or Junior Sous. An enthusiastic individual who will promote our culture of positivity.
