We work towards a circular economy and a carbon neutral future, for you and for generations to come.For the area of Logistics located in Grimsby, UK, we invite applications for the role ofDay Process SupervisorReference-No.: 200003834DepartmentProcurement, Logistic, Supply Chain ManagementPositionManagementLocationUnited Kingdom of Great Britian, GrimsbyPurpose & key responsibilities of the roleYou will lead and coordinate the Day Process Team, directing day-to-day work activities, including safety and human resource activitiesYou will manage the movement of raw materials, intermediate goods, finished products, substandard items, and waste, ensuring timely delivery and collection to increase business efficiencyYou will ensure accurate documentation for all daily deliveries and collections, maintaining organized records that are easily accessible when neededYou will oversee site transport, ensuring that it is well‑maintained, compliant, and fit for purposeYou will manage pulp deliveries, ensuring that they are ordered in a timely manner and that pulp inventory and storage is managed effectivelyYou will supervise inventory and warehouse activities, ensuring they are handled efficiently and effectivelyYou will ensure that raw materials and inventory are managed according to FIFO (First-In, First-Out) principlesOur expectations for this exciting roleYou have minimum GCSE Maths and English Language, grade A-C or equivalent; and good literacy and numeracy skillsYou are experienced in stock, inventory and warehouse managementYou can drive a fork-lift truck; you are familiar with best operating practices for workplace transport; and you would be open to qualifying as a workplace transport assessor, including FLT, PEOP and REACH TruckYou are confident in managing operational teams, and are able to supervise in a positive, constructive manner via effective communication and feedbackYou have experience of working in a fast-moving, dynamic work environment, and you can investigate, solve problems, adapt and prioritise, all while working to strict deadlinesYou are experienced in managing SHE, quality and human resources, and you are able to positively develop the organisation’s safety and quality culture, leading by example and exhibiting a safe, responsible attitudeYou are a reliable team player with a collaborative, hands‑on approach; a positive can‑do attitude; and great organisational skillsWhat we can offer you25 holidays + all bank holidays.Company pension contribution up to 12%.Competitive salary & annual pay reviews.Be an integral part of a profitable business.Excellent development and training opportunities.Opportunity to work for an environmentally sustainable business, using recycled and renewable resources to produce specialty products.
