Position Overview Upon your successful appointment you will hold a clinical caseload and work in a range of settings including paediatric ward, special care baby unit and outpatient clinics. You will play a key role in helping us develop new resources and improving the paediatric dietetics service for our patients. The post holder will also be required to attend meetings or training across the wider county of East Sussex, therefore being a car driver / owner is essential for this post. Key Responsibilities Support a varied paediatric caseload across a variety of clinical conditions, including assessment and treatment of paediatric patients referred for nutritional advice. Attend meetings, training and outreach activities across East Sussex, driving as necessary. Work collaboratively with a friendly, supportive, professional team and fully develop your professional skills and areas of special clinical interest. Provide regular supervision and competency training opportunities for ongoing professional development. Qualifications & Experience HCPC registered dietitian with a minimum of 12 months general dietetic practice within the NHS as a Band 5 Dietitian. A keen interest to advance clinical, professional and leadership skills within Paediatrics and a desire to move into a Band 5‑6 progressor role. Ability to drive and own a car, and willingness to work across multiple sites including Eastbourne, Hastings, Bexhill and Uckfield.
