OverviewWe are looking for a consultant level to join our noise and acoustics team, where you will have the opportunity to get involved in a wide variety of exciting and complex projects.Our noise and acoustics team undertake work across a variety of sectors from residential, healthcare, education, retail, and commercial. We also undertake assessment of sustainable energy schemes such as battery storage and solar farms. Our clients include UK MoD, Sainsbury’s, Amazon together with a variety of local authorities and building developer clients.Our Services IncludeEnvironmental noise and vibration assessment, development of mitigatory measures for buildings and plant equipment, environmental statements or discharge of conditionsPost-planning building acoustics design work from RIBA Stage 2-6ResponsibilitiesEnvironmental noise and vibration assessment, development of mitigatory measures for buildings and plant equipment, environmental statements or discharge of conditionsPost-planning building acoustics design work from RIBA Stage 2-6RequirementsPossess an acoustics degree or closely related engineering subject (including mathematics, physics or music technology)Possess strong communication skills to represent the company to prospective clients and industry contactsA driver’s licence will be requiredUpon joining the team, you will gain fast insight into the world of acoustic consultancy, with responsibilities in site and desk duties such as noise measurement surveys, sound insulation testing, 3D noise modelling and report preparation. You will have the chance to work across a wide range of developments including rural, urban or industrial environments across Europe and the UK. As you progress, you will be able to manage projects from start to finish, working alongside some of the UK’s most respected architects, developers, engineers and construction teams.
