A world-renowned luxury retail company based in London is seeking a talented Legal Counsel to join their dynamic legal team. Reporting to the Lead Legal Counsel, you will provide legal and strategic advice on both contentious and non-contentious employment matters, including supporting on employee grievances, claims, dismissals, and settlement negotiations. You will prepare pleadings and witness evidence in respect of tribunal claims and attend Tribunal hearings as required. You will collaborate with the Senior Employment Counsel, and advise on corporate, commercial, data protection, and GDPR issues related to employment. The role will have a strong litigious element. The successful candidate will be a qualified solicitor ideally between 1‑2PQE, with post‑qualification experience in employment law. In‑house experience is advantageous but not essential.
