Join Our Team We are seeking a highly motivated and analytically strong Senior Actuarial Analyst to support the Deputy Head of Pricing, International in delivering strategic pricing initiatives across our international portfolio. The role reports to the Deputy Head of Pricing, International and sits within the International Pricing & Planning team as part of the CUO Office. Your Responsibilities Complex Risk Pricing: Analyze, price, and structure large and complex insurance and reinsurance contracts across multiple lines of business. Pricing Tool Development & Improvement: Work closely with class underwriters to develop, enhance, and maintain pricing tools, introduce new exposure models, and improve parameterisation processes. Portfolio Steering & Analytics: Conduct analyses that inform growth strategies and remediation efforts; monitor key accounts and support regular performance reviews with internal stakeholders and external partners. Business Planning Support: Produce planning materials, including loss ratio setting and analysis of key drivers such as loss trends and inflation; support loss‑ratio volatility analysis for the capital model. Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities to enhance pricing maturity and capabilities; contribute to initiatives that support our ambition to be a best‑in‑class pricing function; engage in peer‑review processes and give/receive feedback. Cross‑functional Collaboration: Collaborate with colleagues across actuarial, underwriting, and other business functions to deliver high‑quality insights and contribute to cross‑functional projects. Your Skills and Abilities Significant progress toward actuarial qualification; 3+ years of experience. Practical experience using a range of pricing techniques, particularly for Lloyd’s/London Market risks; experience in Casualty, Marine, Aviation or Energy is advantageous. Experience building and enhancing exposure‑based pricing tools. Excellent MS Excel skills. Power BI and proficiency in a coding language (SQL, Python) desirable. Curious, open‑minded, and proactive with a desire to continuously improve and learn new skills. Collaborative mindset and ability to work effectively in a team environment.
