About the Role We're looking for Customer Team Members to join our team at Co-op. As a Customer Team Member, you'll be part of a friendly team that's dedicated to helping our customers. We'll look to you to provide them with great service on the tills and the shop floor, while also performing a wide range of other tasks around the store like re‑stocking shelves and cleaning up spillages. Responsibilities Friendly and thoughtful service – you'll put customers first in everything you do: responding to queries, championing Co‑op products and Membership, working in our in‑store bakery and doing all you can to deliver a great shopping experience. Work together to make everyone's day better – supporting your store colleagues to solve problems for customers and members. Make sure the store safe and legal – keep the shelves stocked and make sure prices, dates, and temperatures are all as they should be. Help introduce new products and services – make changes feel natural, sharing experiences with your colleagues so everyone learns together. Support your local community – get involved in all kinds of activities and events Requirements A genuine care for the needs of customers and members. Great people skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with customers and colleagues. A positive approach to change and problem solving.
