Base pay range Class 1 HGV / LGV (C+E) Driver Hours: Monday to Friday, 19:30 to 05:00, 42.5 hours per week. Pay: £17.52 per hour. We are looking to recruit both experienced and newly qualified Class 1 HGV/LGV (C+E) drivers who will be based at our distribution centre in Appleton, Warrington. We offer a permanent full‑time position which usually includes at least one weekend day. Pay, working hours and benefits: We offer an hourly pay rate of £17.52 and you will be guaranteed a certain number of hours per week. Overtime is regularly available. The shift pattern will be 19:30 to 05:00. Additional benefits 6 weeks annual leave. Interactive induction programme with support from a skilled driver trainer. Unload palletised goods from the vehicle using a powered pallet truck and tail lift. Collect waste and other items to return to the depot. Conduct daily vehicle checks. Maintain a safe and efficient approach to driving. Requirements Full UK driving licence with C+E entitlement. Digital tachograph and CPC card. 6 points or fewer on your licence, with no dangerous driving or drink‑related endorsements. Friendly, positive, hardworking attitude.
