Responsibilities Provide expert clinical pharmacy service to staff and patients in Critical Care, Anaesthetics, Surgery and Radiology. Act as a role model and local expert in the critical care and surgery pharmacy field. Responsible for education and training in medicines management for multidisciplinary teams. Provide effective clinical governance to manage risk and embed clinical audit practices to improve safety and quality of services. Develop initiatives and guidelines to ensure safe and cost‑effective use of medicines. Act as the main point of contact between the Critical Care and Surgery directorate and Pharmacy. Role Details Interview date: week 24th November. Support the Associate Chief Pharmacist in developing and delivering overall pharmacy strategy and clinical service management, including financial and business planning, governance, and service improvement. Where qualified, work as an independent prescriber within agreed scope of practice and Trust policies.
