Issa Medical is seeking a skilled and motivated Scrub Nurseto join our dynamic clinical team. This role involves providing high-qualityperioperative support within our minor surgery service, ensuring safe andeffective care for patients undergoing procedures in our treatment suite.You will work closely with surgeons, GPs, and other membersof the multidisciplinary team to deliver exceptional patient experiences anduphold the highest standards of clinical practice.Main duties of the jobPrepare operating areas and ensure all surgical instruments and equipment are sterile, safe, and available.Act as scrub nurse for minor surgical procedures, maintaining aseptic technique and supporting the surgeon throughout.Ensure all clinical documentation is completed accurately, including instrument checks and surgical safety checklists.Provide compassionate, patient-centred care before, during, and after procedures.Assist in stock management, ordering, and equipment maintenance.Contribute to infection prevention and control processes in line with NHS policies.About usIssa Medical Organisation is a large GP surgery split accross two sites delivering primary care services to over 36,000 patients in Preston.We are a committed team consisting of GPs, Advanced nurse practitioners, Clinical Pharmacists, Paramedic Practitioners, Physician Associates, nurses, and admin members.
