Senior Finance Operations Manager (Finance Change)As the Senior Finance Operations Manager (Finance Change) you will be responsible for supporting the Head of Finance Operations & Regulatory Reporting to lead on multiple significant transformation, continuous improvement and regulatory reporting change initiatives and programmes taking place across the finance function.With the organisation continuing to grow exponentially, increasing our use of systems and automation tools needs to match this. We are on an exciting growth journey to become the UK’s most loved retirement expert.Key ResponsibilitiesLead the Finance Operations Change Agenda transformation initiatives that will improve efficiency, effectiveness and reduce operational risk for the finance teamStrong stakeholder management and ability to influence and lead relationships with Finance Systems and Finance & Group Change teamsImplement and hold the team accountable for key performance metrics to monitor improvements to report to senior leadershipProvide support on material finance projects and regulatory changesWork successfully with key managers within Actuarial, Finance and the business, ensuring that the team is kept up to date with both the developing business (new products) and changing external environment and new front end systemsMotivate, manage and develop a high performing teamWhat we are looking forProfessional Accountancy Qualification, e.g. ICAEW, ACCA, CIMA is essentialSignificant post-qualification experience of insurance accounting/ reporting change and transformation is essentialExperience with system implementation and process improvementsStrong understanding of finance systems such as Oracle and ideally exposure to toolssuch as Blackline or WorkivaIFRS 17 and Solvency II experienceExcellent knowledge of life accounting and reportingExcellent knowledge of data management and analysisKnowledge of financial analysis and controlsStrong experience in partnering with senior stakeholdersGood problem analysis and pro-active resolution skillsExcellent verbal and written communicationExcellent attention to detailOur behavioursAt Just you’ll have the opportunity to develop your career, whilst making a difference to the lives of those around you.
