Housing Income Specialist We are looking for an individual who is self‑motivated and enthusiastic with excellent communications skills. A passion for delivering excellent customer service, a "can do" attitude and strong teamwork are essential. You will need to be an excellent problem solver, offering a balance between enforcement and support across all areas of Income management. About the Role The Housing Income Specialists provide a vital link to other service units, enabling the Council to deliver a comprehensive housing and income service. We are seeking an experienced individual to join our team of four front‑line Housing Income Specialists within the Neighbourhood Housing, Income Collection Team in Guildford. Responsibilities Acting as the first point of customer contact, the Housing Income Specialist is responsible for rent income collection and associated charges in a defined geographical area within the borough of Guildford. The role involves dealing with sensitive issues, often in a pressurised environment where strong negotiation skills and assertiveness in difficult situations are essential. Previous experience of providing debt advice and/or welfare benefit advice is desirable.
