Sheridan Maine is supporting a well-established and expanding accountancy practice in the search for an Audit & Accounts Associate. This role provides an excellent opportunity for a qualified or part-qualified accountant to develop their career in a supportive and professional environment, working on a variety of clients and gaining valuable experience across audit and accounts preparation. Key responsibilities of an Audit and Accounts Associate: Assist with audit engagements across a diverse client portfolio. Prepare and review accounts for limited companies, charities, and other entities. Support the preparation of financial reporting in compliance with accounting standards. Work under the guidance of senior colleagues, providing accurate and timely deliverables. Contribute to a high standard of client service and help maintain strong client relationships. Participate in internal process improvements and support the smooth running of engagements. Requirements for a successful Audit and Accounts Associate: ACA, ACCA, or equivalent qualification (part-qualified or newly qualified considered). Experience in audit and accounts preparation preferred. Strong technical knowledge in accounting principles and financial reporting. Good communication and client service skills.
