Assistant Professor – Behavioural Science University of Warwick – Warwick Business School (WBS) About the Role Warwick Business School is recruiting for an Assistant Professor in the Behavioural Science Group for the academic year 2025/26. The successful candidate will conduct world‑class research with lasting international impact, contribute to teaching within the group, and help sustain a highly interdisciplinary research environment that blends psychology, economics, data science and behavioural change. Key Responsibilities Lead and develop an ambitious, independent research agenda in behavioural economics, judgement and decision‑making, behavioural change, or data science of human behaviour. Publish at the top level and demonstrate a strong record of peer‑reviewed articles or high‑impact working papers. Deliver high‑quality teaching in behavioural science, including designing and teaching modules, supervising students and post‑doctoral researchers. Engage actively with the Behavioural Science Group’s weekly lab meetings, seminar series and collaborative projects. Support the growth of the group through outreach, funding proposals, and external partnerships. Qualifications Completed a PhD in a relevant behavioural science discipline. Strong publication record and evidence of a funded research agenda. Experience in experimental economics, psychological decision‑making, behavioural change, or data science of human behaviour. Evidence of a capacity to teach behavioural science would be an advantage. Application Process Closing deadline: Sunday 11 January 2026 at 11:55pm (UK Time).
