Relief Care Supervisor McCarthy Stone are recruiting a professional Relief Care Supervisor to join our team at our prestigious Barnhill Court development in Chipping Sodbury, Gloucestershire. The development is a Retirement Living Plus made of 60 apartments built in 2015, aimed at over 70s with excellent on‑site facilities. Compensation Hourly rate: £15.24 for day shifts, £12.24 for sleeping night shifts. Plus an additional £1 for each hour worked between midnight Friday and midnight Sunday. Hours and Shift Pattern To cover shifts on an 'as and when' basis when required. Day shifts vary between 08:45–16:30 or 16:15–09:30. Night shifts are 21:30–09:00. Supervisors rest from 23:00 to 07:00 but provide emergency support to homeowners during that period. Qualifications & Criteria Warm, friendly, organised, and self‑motivated with experience in a care or support environment and excellent care skills. Preferably holds a QCF Health and Social Care (Adults) Level 3 qualification; alternative qualifications with relevant experience will also be considered. Willingness to manage the security of the development, look after the safety and wellbeing of homeowners, and oversee Care and Support teams. Ability to coordinate and facilitate activities that strengthen community spirit within the development. Driven to grow skills, lead by example, and think on feet.
