An opportunity for a Maintenance Electrician to join a Global Business, that produces aero engine components which include air foils, rings, disks and forgings. Our client have already engaged in the delivery of a wide range of high-profile projects and on the back of this they have been recently awarded another major contract and thus are looking to add a Maintenance Electrician on a Permanent Contract. The company has a strong presence in the UK with approximately 2,800 employees across 16 operations and four offices. They offer an unparalleled service in multi-material rolling, extrusion, casting, fastening, forging and design. Responsibilities Fault diagnosis, repair and maintenance in a steel work / heavy engineering environment. Assisting with the development of PPM systems and the forward scheduling of maintenance activities. Planning and scheduling planned and unplanned work. Monitor maintenance costs. Operational tasks to comply with legislation and company procedures. Conversant in general machine wiring and installation, including temperature control and lighting. Qualifications Apprentice Trained - City /Guilds + NVQ's. Heavy Engineering background /experience. Hot working /Steel Forging experience/Forge /Foundry background.
