CNC Miller – SetterI am recruiting a skilled CNC Miller to join a precision engineering business in the Kirbymoorside, North Yorkshire area. This is a dual role combining hands-on machine setting with PC-based programming from CAD/CAM drawings – ideal for someone who enjoys both the technical and practical sides of machining.You will be programming from CAD drawings on the computer, then heading onto the shop floor to set and run jobs yourself. No shift work, just a quality-led environment where you can take real ownership of your work.Key Responsibilities:Programming from CAD/CAM drawings (offline, PC-based)Setting and operating CNC milling machines (Haas)Reading technical drawings and machining to tight tolerancesEnsuring parts are produced accurately and efficientlyCollaborating with engineering and production staff on bespoke and batch workWhat we’re looking for:Time-served CNC Miller with setting and programming experienceConfident working from CAD drawings and translating them into machine codeExperience with Haas preferred; Fanuc experience also consideredStrong understanding of precision engineering practicesTakes pride in producing high-quality work and getting it right first timeWhat’s on offer:Up to £17 per hour DOEPermanent position with long-term securityDay shift only – no weekends or night shiftsMonday to Friday, 8:30am – 4:30pmWell-equipped engineering environmentGenuine scope to develop skills and take on more responsibilityIf you're an experienced CNC Miller Setter with strong programming experience PC and Pedestal based, I would love to see your CV. #J-18808-Ljbffr
