Democracy Volunteers Democracy Volunteers is a UK-based organisation focused on improving the quality of democratic elections for voters. Through collaboration and constructive advice, we aim to make elections better for everyone. Role Description This is a volunteer hybrid role for an Election Observer based in Wales. Volunteers will participate in both in‑person and remote election observation activities. Responsibilities include monitoring polling stations, recording and analysing processes against international standards, and compiling observations for reporting purposes. The role requires occasional travel within Wales and limited work‑from‑home tasks, such as preparing and submitting reports. Qualifications Knowledge or experience in Elections and Democracy Some understanding of Public Administration and Political Science Familiarity with concepts like the Rule of Law Strong observational and analytical skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team A commitment to impartiality and ethical practices Fluency in English; Welsh language skills would be welcome but not essential Seniority level Entry level Industries Civic and Social Organizations #J-18808-Ljbffr
