About the roleIn the Supply Chain team at No7 Beauty Company we delight our customer with excellent availability of products whilst managing a highly efficient operating model to maximise value for the Boots Group. We manage the flow of products from supplier through to customers across the globe and through our insights, data and stewardship we help the organisation to create and execute the plans that deliver financial success.The No7 Beauty Company uses S&OP to provide the governance process that enables us to set targets, to monitor performance against these targets, to identify risks and opportunities and to drive actions that enable us to deliver our plans.S&OP is visible in the form of a series of monthly meetings that review historic / future performance and helps to drive alignment across business functions on the tangible actions required to achieve the plan.The S&OP ManagerThe S&OP Manager owns and facilitates the S&OP process for the No7 Beauty Company.Key ResponsibilitiesDrives / maintains the cadence, efficacy and continuous improvement of the established S&OP governance meetings. Notably:Account ReviewRegional Demand ConsensusGlobal Supply ReviewGlobal S&OP / Management Business ReviewThrough these forums the S&OP manager draws the focus of the organisation towards the mid-term horizon (4-18 months) so that proactive actions can be taken.Ensures that these meetings continue to combine to support the No7 Beauty company Leadership in:Understanding recent performance (KPI's)Reviewing and validating future performance expectations (out to 18 months)Identifying risks and opportunities to plansDriving course correction activities to support business target achievementPrompts corrective action if the above aims are not being metSupports the efficacy of these forums by:Ensuring the S&OP elements of the E2Open functionality meet user requirements and provide effective inputs to meeting reviewsTakes an active role in capturing and documenting routine elements of meeting content (KPI's etc) to drive an efficient administration processDiarises all meetings, drives attendance, owns and facilitates meeting agendasCaptures minutes / actions and issues to stakeholdersEscalates and seeks support from Supply Chain Senior Leadership where needed to achieve the above.Identifies, seeks approval for and drives opportunities to continuously improve the S&OP processOwns the audit process that measures process efficacyWhilst this role does not own the actions that drive business performance it does own the governance process that identifies and targets these actions to appropriate stakeholders.What you'll need to haveDegree level educated (or equivalent) in business, finance, supply chain or related field10 years experience in Finance, Commercial or SC planning with 5 years+ direct experience of the specific governance aspects of S&OPExcellent facilitator and comfortable in managing meeting efficacy with all levels of the organisationStrong emphasis on process discipline and continuous improvementAn understanding of, and experience of using Supply Chain or Finance planning systemsBuilds strong relationships and networksSolid business acumen and financial understanding (able to link Supply Chain performance to financial benefit)Direct experience of, and involvement in S&OPKnowledge of master data requirements to support S&OP would also be an advantage.It would be great if you also have:Retirement Savings PlanEnhanced maternity/paternity/adoption leave payDiscretionary annual bonusGenerous discount on our own brands and partner businessesFlexible benefits scheme including option to buy additional holiday, discounted gym membership, life assurance, activity passes and much more.We have a great range of benefits in addition to the above that offer flexibility to suit you - go to no7company.jobs/working-here to find out more.
