OverviewMy client is a Top 100 Accountancy firm and they are looking for an Audit Manager to join their team in Central London. This is a client facing role with the opportunity to establish strong relationships across their extensive portfolio of audit clients in the SME sector and comes with excellent prospects for career development.Responsibilitiesoverall responsibility for managing and review auditsmanaging client expectations and building relationshipsworking within a team on the firm's larger audits for both corporate and not-for-profit clientsdealing with client queries and overseeing the work of junior colleaguesoverseeing smaller audits reporting directly to partnerpreparation of financial statements, both for audit and non-audit clientsprepare audit files for RI reviewRequirementsACA / ACCA Qualifiedminimum of 3 years audit experience in an accountancy practiceup to date with current auditing and accounting issues and conversant with relevant auditing and accounting standards, company law etc.good tax knowledge, in particular corporation tax. An awareness of VAT and payroll taxes are an added bonus.experience of working on a wide range of clientscomputer literate including good Excel experience.
